Reflexion Horses
This is the dedicated portfolio and showcase of past and current horses in the Reflexion Horse program. Not all horses are shown on this page.

Lovey Horse
From barn house broke to thoughtful athlete. Lovey has been a pleasantly surprising outcome and the most fulfilling set of challenges. She had been out of work for much time when I started her and she had no higher forms of formal training. Having a health first training program, many of our first days together were spent working through stomach and digestion discomforts, improper movement, issues managing energy, and a general obstruction to physical activity; No concept of a lunge line, no trot, and no gait differentiation.
Thrilled that our training continues today, her natural curiosity and determination has expanded her repertoire into gymnastics, jumping, endurance, and dressage. Her energy levels improve daily and her muscular developments are significant. Her training has amounted to many achievements including: dressage techniques and principles, cross rail jumps, a fierce lunge, manageable gaits, and their decorated subsequent pieces filling in!
Lovey is a great example of what the Reflexion Horse training is capable of and a daring love letter to what SHE is capable of.

Picasso
I only worked with Picasso a short time, nonetheless, his quick progress showed a great deal about his levels of determination. Most of my work during the two-week period with him was in grooming and in-hand work. His most significant development was in his balance. Walking side by side with him at first was staggered and clumsy. His balance was disoriented and he struggled to yield properly. He was quick to learn and with a little work, he began to stand upright, walk straight deliberately, and move off a yield with a sharper distinction.
Adjusting a horse's stance and walking steps are the first things (aside from temperament) that I am focusing on when I start a new horse. I am very quick to make changes and fixes to their physio-structures of movement and balance. Horses go on to develop and practice what I show them on their own. Over time, these changes, accompanied with ongoing training, produce a beautiful and reflexed athlete; sculpted physically and intelligent athletically. Picasso was quick to take in lessons of strength. Our time together was short but his unbridled optimism was a billion inspiration!

Happy Cowgirl
Happy Cowgirl is a 21 year old thoroughbred mare. Her years working as a show jumper are extensive and impressive. When I began working with her, the immediate concerns to address were her muscle atrophy, degenerative joints, her brittle thoroughbred hooves, and her bad exercise habits. Over the course of eight months, Happy went from old raggedy, worn out and shaggy, to shining star, athlete style! She was featured in many beautiful photographs unveiling her incredible physique and her brightly shining coat; the first horse example and the early stages of the reflexed athlete and training theory: signature glam-armor and musculature impressiveness.
